Palletline Continues to Drive Growth North of the Border
Palletised distribution specialist Palletline continues to build the strength and experience of its network in the Scottish Borders. The latest recruit to consolidate Palletline's position north of the Border is Kelso-based Olivers Transport Ltd, who will provide the Palletline service throughout the area.
Palletline has been working to reinforce the quality of its offering to the Scottish market for some time now, resulting in the introduction of new members across the Borders region and into Dumfries & Galloway.
Bringing Olivers Transport into the fold is seen as a coup for Palletline; this family-owned distribution company enjoys an acknowledged reputation for quality and performance, serving market sectors including food and specialist papers and operating a modern fleet of curtainsiders and temperature controlled trailers.
"We have always held back from joining a network because of our drive to maintain control over service quality," stated Managing Director Kenneth Oliver. "Historically, we have provided a door to door service for our customers using our own vehicles and drivers. However, increasing demand for a comprehensive service from single pallets through to full loads has led us to review our position, and we are confident that with Palletline we can maintain identical and uncompromising quality standards."
Palletline's Managing Director Kevin Buchanan echoes the sentiment. "We are very pleased to welcome Olivers Transport to the Palletline network, giving the area a Member Company totally committed to delivering quality and operating with dedication to performance which mirrors our own," he commented.
